I have been reading a lot of books lately, mostly in an attempt to absorb as much information about business and entrepreneurs as possible. Why? You might be wondering. Simply put, I am trying to engross myself into the mindset of what it takes to be a successful and fun loving business man. I have always known that I was not that keen on working for someone else, throughout the course of my life I was always looking at tasks and jobs and viewing them under a magnifying glass and looking at the various ways that they were effective and also ineffective. That notion compounded with the fact that I knew I would never work as a corporate mule for 50+ hours a week has caused me to create and run 3 small companies over the years. After recently immersing myself into the world of self start business, I have realized that while working for others might be a necessary means to an end, ultimately there are not enough companies with the same vision and purpose that I have in life, so I have no desire to work for them. Getting my own business up and running is going to be crucial for my future life adventures, and I must say I am damned excited to put together a plan and get the ball rolling.
