“He said he would call me sometime, so I’m sure I’ll hear from him soon”

“Did you see that chick last night, she was kissing me and all over me, she is going to be new my girlfriend guys”

Ever wonder why that guy hasn’t called you yet, or why that girl you made out with at the bar is simply not returning your calls?

During this journey of bar hopping, stalking guys and girls at malls, and even getting all dressed up to go to the grocery store to buy a piece of cheese, communication misinterpretation is bound to happen

It happens when that guy doesn’t call you back after the first date and you don’t know why

It happens when that girl you hooked up with at the bar does not return your phone calls and you don’t understand why she won’t see you again

It is this very misinterpretation that can cause you to waste countless hours on guys or girls who will not pan out in future

I want to show you what misinterpretation in relationships is, and how one rule can help you overcome lead yourself to more positive, healthy, and long lasting relationships

“Truth is what every man needs in order to live, but can obtain or purchase from no one. Each man must reproduce it for himself from within, otherwise he must perish. Life without truth is not possible. Truth is perhaps life itself.” -Franz Kafka

Are you a truthful person?

Many people, including myself, have told many lies over the course of their life

Sometimes they are said in order to help yourself

Other times in order to protect others

But everyone has done it at one point in their lives

Surely even George Washington told a few lies in his lifetime

Telling the truth, or even more importantly, acting truthful, is one of the most powerful and difficult concepts for people to accomplish in this day in age

I want to show you how living a life and truth are one in the same, and how living your life with truthfulness can shape your life, and the lives of those around you, in a positive and profound way

How to Build a Motivational Board

inspitationscreenfinal1

Visualize your goals

Speak affirmations

Define who you are

Listen to your Eckhart Tolle audio CDs until you are a walking incantation of the Buddha himself

Every piece of advice in the self help community is beneficial to you in your path to living the life of your dreams

But there is SO MUCH information that is can get overwhelming at times

And all the advice and tips that self help gurus tell you tend to impart on you, how the hell do you make sense of it all, where do you begin?

Something I figured out a long time ago was to develop a motivational board of sorts

This board housed everything that I was, and everything that I strive to be, all in one neat little package that I could look at every day without being overwhelmed by mountains of books filled with advice

I want to show you how to make a very kickass and extremely useful motivational board for your goals, life passions, and just because it will be the single best coffee table “book poster” you could ever come up with 😉

The Last Lecture: Achieve Your Dreams

Randy Pausch gave an inspirational speech at Carnegie Melon University where he tells people to follow their childhood dreams and fantasies. This speech was deemed the last lecture (a final speech by a retiring professor) as Randy was struggling with pancreatic cancer which eventually claimed his life on July 25, 2008.

His speech is memorable, and I suggest watching it with open eyes, ears, and a heart. Randy may have passed, but his speech and its message will live on forever.

As Randy says, “It’s not about how to achieve your dreams. It’s about how to lead your life. If you lead your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself. The dreams will come to you.”
