The Power of Persistence Poem

persistance

I want to sit here and spool you a story my dear friend

I once knew a man who wanted everything, but couldn’t do anything

He decided to say, “to hell with it all” and decided to give it his all

He tried and tried and tried some more until he couldn’t get up anymore

He stopped and started but couldn’t get off the ground runnin’

But then a flash of light, he had made a success, he couldn’t stop his feet from moving so fast

He failed and succeeded over and over again, until he had done it all with his bare two hands

A thought then stuck his head, he had it all before the very end

He was never going to be set up for a fall, if anything he could only stand tall

Trying and trying again, can never limit ones imagination

Cheers

Get Your Hustle On

do-the-hustle

What does it mean to hussle?

Urban dictionary tells us,

“To hustle” When someone has the gift of the gab and can talk anyone into handing over their credit card or bank details, so that they can make money.

Hussling is an art, and it can serve a purpose far beyond selling such extremities as used cars or hard narcotics, it is a life skill.

When you know how to talk, and how to get what you want, obviously you will have a life high from being able to change your circumstances at any given moment, the world becomes your playground.

If you don’t already know how to hussle, you clearly haven’t been working hard enough in your life.

While you may not have the gift of gab and be able to pry your way into any office meeting or pair of legs, you must be able to work some magic in some capacity. Whether you are an IT guru who can make a shitty website look and sound like heaven to a client or a grocery store clerk who can always get someone to donate a dollar to some nameless charity, everyone can be a audible wrecking ball at something.

Recognize your ability to hussle, and nurture it until you can spool gold straight out of your mouth.

Every day im hussling

Be Limitless with Bruce Lee

Let get something straight, I love Bruce Lee.

If I could be resurrected and come back as anyone, I would likely give my left testicle to either

A) Be Bruce Lee

B) Be one of his apprentices

Any man who could father the principles of Jeet Kune Do has my eternal respect, admiration, and full blown man crush rights.

Not only did he offer up an amazing philiosphy for the world to digest, but he gets serious bonus points for actually living the example he was trying to set. He knew that anyone could achieve anything, and that limitations would be a fate worse than death by mediocrity.

Read this excerpt about him and start realizing how much better you could be living your life now.

It’s Called Mindset

Another brilliant gem while my brain and my liver recover from 10 days of debauchery in Texas.

This one is a keeper.
